COURSE COST:  £525 Including City & Guilds registration and examination fee.  A practical examination re-sit is charged at £200 + VAT.

OBJECTIVE:  To achieve a City & Guilds 2391 qualification in line with the NICEIC initiative on inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations

This course is designed for competent electricians, who have experience of inspecting and testing and are in possession of City & Guilds 2381 or equivalent.  Should also have an understanding of standard electrical formulae and principles.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Overalls, safety footwear and safety spectacles during workshop assessment periods.  Candidates should also be in possession of Guidance Note 3: Inspection & Testing 4th Edition (IEE Publication) ISBN No:  0852969910

• Earth Fault Loop Impedance
• Operations of RCDs
• Prospective Short Circuit Current

TUTORIAL:

An optional tutorial session is also offered that will include a practical session on testing & inspecting and completion of a test certificate.  The cost of this tutorial is £120 Plus VAT.

On completion of this course the delegates will be sufficiently competent in the use of regulations to a standard which will enable them to take the City & Guilds examination.

**  Candidates must be registered with City & Guilds 6 weeks prior to the examination date.
