OBJECTIVE:  Delegates will be able to set up and shut down oxy acetylene equipment safely and will also have a working knowledge of cutting carbon steel of various ranges.

This course is suitable for persons with little or no welding knowledge.

COURSE CONTENT:

• Safe Handling of Compressed Gases
• Safe Procedures for Building Up and Shutting Down Oxy Acetylene Cutting Equipment
• Pressure Gauges and Cutting Pressures
• Flame Adjustment
• Practice Cutting - 10 to 25 mm Carbon Steel Plate

Delegates will receive an attendance certificate from HETA on successful completion of this course.
