"AAK have used HETA for our apprentice scheme for several years . They provide excellent training during the first year at their facility and feedback progress of our apprentices on a regular basis. Following the first year,
regular visits to our site and progress reports are made. Any support that the apprentice may need if they are struggling with any aspect of their training I can rely on HETA in helping. I would rate the service and quality of the training as excellent."

"Knauf have used HETA for many years to recruit engineering apprentices of both electrical and mechanical biases. The standard of candidates we have received has always been second to none. From the rigorous recruitment process through to the final assessor support when on plant has proved to be highly beneficial, resulting in highly skilled and confident young people.
I feel it is also pertinent to point out that on the occasions we have not been able to recruit our apprentices they have always gone onto permanent positions within the engineering industry. Knauf will definitely continue to use HETA to recruit apprentices"
Human Resource Partner
Total Lindsey Oil Refinery (TLOR) have been using the Humberside Engineering Training Association (HETA) for the last 6 years for its apprentice program.
"Over this period we have successfully developed Mechanical, Instrument and Operational apprentices with the assistance of HETA.The first years training at HETA has been well developed over the years and is implemented extremely well. It usually starts off with a team building week at an outward bound centre in the Peak District. There is encouragement for the apprentices to do well, various awards are available for the apprentices to win and the evenings are well organized. Throughout an individual's apprent iceship HETA conduct the NVQ assessments on our site, meet with them and their mentors and regularly keep in touch with management regarding their progress.
As a site, we at TLOR are extremely happy with the quality of the service we and our apprentices have received over the last 6 years."

"BOC has introduced our first Apprenticeship scheme for over 20 years; and after a challenging start with an FE college, HETA have picked up the scheme at a difficult mid-point and ensured that the requirements of tomorrow's engineers are met.
We have also used HETA to deliver electrical training on our complex industrial gases equipment.
Additionally, HETA have delivered our CCNSG passport to safety programme at our sites, providing a valuable service to our engineers in the field.
We are working with HETA to develop an industrial gases area within their site at Scunthorpe."

"HETA are a very well respected training provider in the area. They have a rigorous selection process and produce high calibre apprentices.Their trainers are very knowledgeable and come from an industrial
background. I have always found them to be very professional and their training methods to be delivered to a high standard.
They maintain regular contact with the employer to ensure that apprentices receive high standards of training and are quite co-operative when agreeing the selection of modules etc."
