Course Objectives:

Upon successful completion of this 2-day course, you will have an appreciation of how to prepare, install, inspect and maintain electrical equipment protection methods. This qualification does not prove competency to work in hazardous areas but provides delegates with a greater appreciation of Competency in Ex atmospheres and the promotion of safe working.

Course Outline:

• ExF Unit– Appreciation of Preparation, Installation, Inspection & Maintenance of electrical equipment protection methods and ‘Intrinsically safe systems’.
• Overview of the requirements of working safely in an explosive atmosphere

CompEx is an accredited international scheme that involves competence-based training and assessment for electrical and instrumentation technicians who are working in environments with the potential risk of explosive atmospheres.
