Course details

Course Objectives:

Upon successful completion of this course, you or your staff will be able to complete certain welding or fabrication projects, using certain techniques. Materials and consumables are provided for the course, but you are required to bring your own PPE (Safety Boots, Safety Glasses), Welding overalls can be provided if you don’t have a pair.

Course Outline:

To start off, you will recieve training in each of the four areas before being given the opportunity to specialise in your chosen field

• TIG 
• MIG 
• Thermal Cutting
• Plating

Assessments: 

Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a TWI coding in one of the following disciplines:

• BS4872 T-Fillet in PB on 5mm mild steel in MIG
• BS4872 T-Fillet in PB on 5mm mild steel in MMA
• BS4872 T-Fillet in PB on 3mm mild steel in TIG

One additional coding can be purchased from the above list as part of the course which is chargeable at £80 +VAT
