Course details
This course provides training on the dis-assembly, inspection, assembly and tightening of bolted joints, using hand torque, hydraulic torque and bolt tensioning techniques.
Ideally suited to someone in industries like oil and gas and process industries to ensure safe and competent mechanical joint operations and reduce hydrocarbon releases.
Learning Outcomes:
Making and breaking of tangled graphite and glass filled Teflon joints in the following classes:
- ANSI Class 150 - up to and including 4" pipework
- ANSI Class 300 - up to and including 2" pipework
- Gaskets including GF-PTFE, TG and SW
