This course is perfect if you have experience milling and turning using traditional machines but seek to advance your career further by gaining an understanding of the basic skills and knowledge to consider further development into a CNC Machining role.

Course details

Course Objectives:

Upon successful completion of this course, you or your staff will have basic skills and knowledge surrounding how to use a CNC Machine, and the H&S legislation and guidelines in relation to CNC Machining. Thus, reducing risk when working around CNC Machines, increasing efficiency by using industry tested operation methods, and reducing time spent learning how to use them.

 

Course Outline:

  • H&S legislation and guidelines in relation to CNC machines
  • Basic principles of CNC Machining
  • Introduction to CNC Milling
  • Setting tooling and machine coordinates

 

Our introduction to CNC Machining Course is completely unique to HETA, we created the course to provide basic practical training on the subject. Successful delegates will receive an in-house qualification, showing they have completed the course.
