Course Objectives:

Upon successful completion of this 2-day course, you will have a good understanding of the legislation, health & safety procedures, and recording process surrounding inspection & testing. You will also be taught methods to safely inspect and test electrical installations for domestic installations.

Course Outline:

• Legislation
• Health and safety (safe isolation and safe working practice),
• General inspection procedures
• Use of BS7671 in inspection and testing
• Types of test equipment (Single Units and MFT)
• Dead testing
• Live testing (single phase and three phase)
• Completing a schedule of test results (not full certificate)

Our introduction to inspection & testing course is completely unique to HETA, we created the course as there was a lack of training covering just the basic practical principles of the subject. Successful delegates will receive an in-house qualification, showing they have successfully completed the course.
